Position as Defined by the Constitution
The Social Outreach Chair has three main responsibilities. The Social Outreach Chair has the responsibility of organizing social events for the club. These events have the purpose of building camaraderie and serve as a way for club members to get to know each other. The Social Outreach Chair is also responsible for the recruitment of new members. This involves creating marketing materials (i.e. posters) and participating in club fairs around grounds. The third main responsibility is to assist the President in reaching out to other organizations on grounds and to develop relationships with them. In addition to this, the social outreach chair also aids the rest of the exec board with anything regarding event planning and club exposure.
